The course will start on September 1, 2019. The main research area of the SDO lab covers static/dynamic structural analysis by using finite element method and structural optim ization. For optimization, not only industrial applications but also methodologies such as topology and shape optimization has been actively researched in the lab. Apart from structural mechanics, the optimization may involve other physics such as acoustics or wave propagation and its accompanying experiments.
